You might have noticed on my home page I have a new book out. It is actually only going to be available on Kickstarter simply because I love having exclusive content for backers. But I do want to tell you a little about it in case you want to take a look over there.
The campaign ends this month Tuesday January 30th, 2024.
It's offered as an eBook, and extended edition eBook, a saddle stitch and an exclusive hardcover with all the trimmings.
On thing that I've done is to include a short story, or rather a first chapter, of The Story of Susan. Years ago I thought I'd take on the challenge that C.S. Lewis offered the world to tell the story of Susan Prevensie from Narnia. I started such a story and never finished. Today I have a tier just as a challenge for me to finish that novella or novel or whatever it's going to be.
I'm beginning by reading the entire Narnia series and you can follow my progress on my paperback website.Here is what Lewis said about Susan when asked if he would finish telling her story.:
“I could not write that story myself. Not that I have no hope of Susan’s ever getting to Aslan’s country; but because I have a feeling that the story of her journey would be longer and more like a grown-up novel than I wanted to write. But I may be mistaken. Why not try it yourself?”
Well, I don't know if anyone else has, but I've taken on that challenge, and this short story will be just the beginning.
